Greek flood myths vs. Mesopotamian flood myth

Have you ever heard of "Noah and the Ark"? Or what about "the Epics of Gilgamesh " these stories have many things in common but they also have a lot of differences. The Greeks and the Mesopotamians had very similar great flood stories but they so different in so many ways.
The Greeks and the Mesopotamians had very similar great flood stories. They both used arks(boats). They both involve gods and Demi-God. They both involve human beings being rude, greedy, noisy etc. They both involved just 2 people being saved, the main character(usually a guy) that was chosen by the God or gods and then you have his wife. Both Arks(boats) landed on a mountain. This shows how the Greeks and Mesopotamians great flood stories are similar.
The Greeks and the Mesopotamians great flood stories are different. The Mesopotamians great flood lasted for six days and six nights. The Greeks great flood lasted for nine days and nine nights. Zeus wanted to kill the humans because of how mean, rude and greedy they were. The Mesopotamian gods wanted to kill them because they overpopulated and noisy. This shows how the Greeks and the Mesopotamians Great flood story are different.
In conclusion there are many versions of the great flood story and they are similar and different in many ways.
